Edit: European Mobility Expo has been cancelled due to the COVID19 health crisis.
The European Mobility Expo, which brings together numerous players in the European mobility and public transport sector each year, will be held from December 15 to 17, 2020.
This will be an opportunity for all exhibitors to relaunch their activities, after a drop in markets due to the COVID-19 health crisis.
SOA, as a provider of innovative solutions for the organization and layout of control and supervision rooms, will be present at the show.
European Mobility Expo, a development lever for exhibitors
The European Mobility Exhibition is organized by GIE Objectif Transport Public, made up of Groupement des Autorités Responsables de Transport (GART) and Union des Transports Publics et Ferroviaires (UTP).
This annual event, a must for professionals in Europe's mobility sector, brings together all the players and companies specializing in the various sectors:
- Organizing authorities, local authorities.
- Ticketing and electronic payments.
- Design, layout, accessibility and street furniture.
- Energy.
- Manufacturers and subcontractors in the rail, public transport, road, active mobility and ropeway sectors.
- Engineering, public works, infrastructure, civil engineering, signalling
- etc.
A forum for discussion and exchange of ideas, the show enables industry professionals to meet the leaders of the various sectors in a single location.
It offers them the opportunity to find or provide effective answers to the challenges they face. It is also during this trade show that visitors will be able to gain a global view of the sector, which, more than ever, needs to be effective in crisis management, such as that caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The winter edition of the European Mobility Expo: an opportunity to boost your business
Originally scheduled for June 25 to 27, the European Mobility Expo will now take place from December 15 to 17, 2020.
The organizers, represented by Thierry Mallet, President of the Union des Transports Publics et ferroviaires, co-organizer with the GART of the European Mobility Expo, are keen to maintain this event.
As a result of the measures taken to limit the transmission of COVID-19 and to ensure a smooth return to work, many companies operating in the mobility sector have experienced a sharp drop in activity, which has had repercussions on their financial situation.
For exhibitors, the show will be an opportunity to make themselves known and relaunch their activities. It will also be an opportunity to exchange essential information on how to deal with the consequences of the health crisis, including the measures taken to revive the sector through immediate financial support, a boost to investment, and a more flexible legal framework.
